Itching and longer periods...could it be naturethroid?
Although abnormal menstrual cycles are associated with hypothyroidism, one of the side effects of NDT is that it can alter the menstrual cycle

7 weeks now since you started NDT, may be your body is still adjusting to your dose.
Itching and dry skin are also hypo symptoms.
If you are not too worried about it and you have experienced some other positive symptoms as a result of NDT, suggestive that you are on an adequate dose, perhaps it is worthy waiting a few cycles then the pattern would be a bit more clearer.
Have a lovely Christmas, meanwhile, and I hope 2016 will be a far better year to everyone.
Lyndsey1987, take an antihistamine an hour before you take NatureThroid. If the itching resolves it's likely that you are having a reaction to one of the fillers in NatureThroid and you may want to try an alternative NDT.

As Nature Throid is hypoallergenic I wouldn't think it would cause a disruption in periods or itching. As MelanieLondon suggests, it might well be your system settling down.
