I just read the following article:

Apparently, the treatment lasts a month and costs £200. Definitely not cheap.

Thanks for the link Pettals. Definitely not cheap but says it last for a year! I see Trevor Sorbie's mentioned in the link and he's quite reputable. I don't know whether it stops our hair from falling out though. It just says for thin hair to make it look thicker.
Uri Geller recommends to do headstands in order to have thick hair!! I imagine that good blood circulation in the scalp could be beneficial for hair growth, but I can't see many people trying this exercise!!!
You made me laugh - I could just imagine the expression on my husband's face if he came in and I was doing a handstand . Would he think 'my goodness the T3 is certainly working miracles'.
Standing on our head, we also make the thyroid gland move position! From being higher up, it gets lower and also turns upside down, so who knows, all this might improve people's health not only make our hair thicker! Just a thought.
Rather than trying to stand on my head - I'd be pretty certain to break my neck! - I prefer to lie on my back on the bed, and let my head and neck hang over the edge. Quite a way over the edge, actually. That makes me feel better in quite a few ways.
I always used to love hanging upside down as a kid, on the jungle gym, and such. So, what I'd really, really love is a trapeze in the bedroom...
..I thought you had always had a trapeze in the bedroom greygoose
Nope. I've never had my own private trapeze. But it was my refuge during gym classes at school - which I hated!!! As much for the uniform as anything else.
I used to get up there, and hang upside down, and I was OK for the rest of the lesson - nobody missed me and nobody looked up far enough to see me. Bliss!
