Hi not been on for a while I've been on liothyronine for about 5 yrs now I got married 3 was ago I managed to lose a stone free a lot of excersise and doing herbalife now my endo has cut my t3 from 4 to 3 and I've put on 7lb in 2 weeks I'm so upset and down about it my endo said see u in 6 months and has sent a app free for a years time so useless I thought I had found someone understanding but no they just want u in and out. my temperatures are still in the low 35s everyday which he doesn't seem to bother about does anyone know of any doctors that diagnose or treat wilsons tempreture syndrome in the UK as been told I may have this by a private doc b4

Shazzy2, It sounds as though you may be undermedicated. If you post your recent thyroid results and ranges in a new question, members will advise whether you are optimally medicated.

My understanding is that Wilson's Syndrome describes hypothyroidism when bloods are euthyroid. If this is the case, adequate thyroid hormone should relieve symptoms. Even optimally medicated, some hypothyroid patients find that temperature doesn't recover having been low for years.
