Hi, I know that there are quite a few people on the forum who have high cortisol, and some who have had pituitary problems, but I don't remember anyone saying they have Cushing's specifically. (But then my memory can't be totally relied upon!)

Have you been adequately treated for your health problems? I imagine your thyroid may well have been affected by Cushing's, have you been given any help or tests or treatment for it?

I am a pituitary patient, living in Pocklington, East Yorkshire. I have problems with high blood pressure caused by the hormone aldosterone. However, I also have low thyroid, cortisol and growth hormone, it is unusual to have one hormone high when the rest are low and balancing them seems to be the difficulty.

Weight is a problem and I go to Slimming World. Have you tried the Pituitary Foundation for help?
