i know its only been 3 and a bit weeks my 1 foot is really swollen but the other 1 has gone down alot . At least i can get 1 boot on lol. Still feel slow and groggy blehh. X

Lol yeah I didn't even realise my feet were that bad it must have been a gradual thing wish swelling in my fingers would go my wedding rings been stuck for ages ohh the joys lol x

Razzar, 6-8 weeks to feel the full impact of the dose which is, of course, a starting dose, and will need adjustment.

Razzar, no, it's equivalent to 90mcg Levothyroxine which is a good starting dose. Starting dose is rarely the dose one ends up on.

Oh ok cool well was 15 mcg then he moved me up to 30mcg in 24 hrs so hopefully will see a difference soon x

hi Razzar1977 i know how you feel my ankles and feet are swollen like that every day they go down if i get my feet up but the pain is still there, and has for speed i've go two speeds slow and slower. i hope your feet get a lot better soon take care bigalan x

Me too. I have not been able to move round at all few months even putting mine up didn't make a difference. But noticed the other day just strange 1 has gone down other hasn't lol and ty hope urs get better soon too x

hi Razzar1977 my feet will never get better because of having three disc out of my back and also suffering with a trapped sciatic nerve damaged its never going to get better but i hope yours improve you look this a young looking woman i think your feet will be better soon take care hope rest of day is better than this morning take care speak to you soon kind regards bigalan xx

I look young for my age but my body failing me that photo was 1 yr ago. Believe it or not Was born in 1976 my brothers and sisters are the same. If I don't get this thyroid disease under control then I'm afraid my body give out altogether x

wow your just a babe to me if i had to put money on it i would have said at least 1980 you where born, but i know what you mean illness can add years to a person but may i say you do look very young and i hope you can get your thyriod disease under control i've heard of it but never know what it is i hope you don't think i'm being nosy, i so sorry that if you can't get it under control at your tender young age and may i say a beautiful woman to have some that has you say your body gives out altogether, i know what that like now all i'm ready for is the scrap yard. anyway Razzar1977 take care speak with you again please have a hug from me to help you kind regards bigalan xx

Awww thanks for the kind you can be as nosey as u like. Everyone's in same situation. I'm not lucky with my health unfortunately it's slowly catching up with me. We all need to keep fighting this horrible illness together. Hope you feel better to soon.spk soon hun x

hi Razzar1977 i know where in the same boat as it were we will keep fighting our illnesses together as are and its nice that we can comfort and care for one another today's not to good the pain in my left hip is giving me some hammer but just took my tablets again hopefully the will kick in take my friend hope rest of your day is okish take care bigalan xx

Awww that's not good I keep get strange shooting pain in my knee might be all that hopping I'm doing haha due to swollen foot. Take it easy rest up.a bit easier said than done I know. hi Razzar it most be horrible for you at your tender young age to be in so much pain, but like you said without the friends that we have made keeping our spirits up, the shooting pains that your getting i'm like that in my hips 24/7 its terrible and with having to cope with swollen feet has well how do we managed hope you have a lovely sunny sunday afternoon speak with you later hopefully you could feel better i'm sending you some big hug n kisses to help you though the rest of today and some for tonight when you go to bed take care sweetheart your friend Alan xx

It's not easy and wish I didn't have this illness there are so many causes I don't know cause of mine but the outcome is same for all of us its for life. At least we have got our thyroid family to lean on in our darkest days. It's good to learn from each other. Here's hoping u get some relief from that hip. Hugs xxx

Some physio might help from one who has sport injuries experience ,like for a rugby club.NHS physios tend to use Tens machines and are not as hands on.

Im supposed to have seen a spine specialist and pain clinic but been so ill not managed to make my appointment will have to sort it out. Ive never got on with tens machines x

Awww that's not good I'm with you there on that. If u ever need to chat or vent just msg. Haha I didn't notice that I did the profile on my Samsung s5 and the numbers on keyboard are tiny close together. I miss having a computer .some times I use the kids but they are always on it. I been close to is a very lonely place to be x
