Diogenes, very interesting paper, thank you. If the conclusions are adopted and acted upon it should greatly improve the wellbeing and QoL of autoimmune and athyreotic patients, which must surely be the majority of hypothyroid patients.

I was an autoimmune (TPO) euthyroid athyreotic thyCa patient. Tg is <0.1 and TgAb is <20 so I assume there is no longer TPOab. FT3 was top/slightly over range with FT4 30-35 but dropped below range when FT4 was 17. I didn't tolerate L-T4 monotherapy well, side effects were unpleasant. L-T3 + L-T4 works well with FT3 4.5-5.5 but a bonus is that L-T3 appears to calm the adverse effects caused by L-T4.
