How long to wait after T3 dosage increase?

Hello all,

After being on a dosage of 100 mcg Levo with 25 mcg Cynomel, I have recently been increased to 31.25 mcg Cynomel and maintaining the 100 mcg Levo. Considering that the Cynomel is faster acting do I still have to wait six weeks for the next blood test?

Tigreg, T3 is faster to act than Levothyroxine but still has to metabolise so 6-8 weeks.

T3 works best when increased very slowly leaving at least 6 weeks before an increase . I found keeping a diary helps too ....good luck x
