Catching every illness going!

I've got an underactive thyroid which I'm taking 125 levothyroxine for, but I'm catching every illness when my kids are ill. Could this be connected? I've had numerous colds and horrible sore throats and a few vomiting bugs too. It's like I've got no resistance at all 😔

Tiredchick, if you're optimally medicated it's probably nothing to do with thyroid. Boost your immunity with 1,000mg vitamin C. Double/treble the dose for a few days when the kids or you get a cold or sickness. High dose can have a loosening effect on the bowels - just to warn you.

Afraid so! Its a given that your immune system will never be the same again! You may also become allergic or intolerant to almost anything.
