What exactly do you mean, you control your hormone secretion? How is that even possible?

Are you taking thyroid hormone replacement? Which one? How much? What were your last blood test results? Sounds like you're Under-dosed if you're still tired.

More information needed, please, before we can help you.

If you take high dose of Levothyroxine, then it can make you feel fatigued. So experiment reducing or incresing your dose in small amounts for several weeks as two weeks may be too short to see real effects if your body has slow metabolism like mine. I am 60 & now on t3 only with very small dose 6mg, and it works for me. I used to be on Levothyroxine 50mg to start with then increased to 75mg but did not help very much. I did lots of reading on internet to compare my symptoms until I found close match, and started to treat myself with t3.

Thank you for sharing your own treatment pattern KadirVankalwala. I was diagnosed 4 years ago and am on 100 mg Levo at present. This has been reduced from 150 to 125 in the past and My GP refuses to carry out T3 test saying that there is no need but I feel so tired and my symptoms are not improving. Hair is still coming out (commented upon yet again by my hairdresser) cannot sleep at night despite feeling exhausted during the day, outer eyebrows have not returned and so on. One good thing is that my recent Hemiplegic migraines have been improved with Topamax which is something I am very grateful for. I am 60.

Last test April was Serum TSH Level 0.07 mu/L - "LOW". Any advice gratefully received.

Sad to think I could possibly be feeling much better on t3 though.

I am a private patient of Nutritionist in Wales. I did private t3 test, with permission from my GP in a private Lab. Results were then sent to Nutritionist. I am on t3 since last one year. My muscle & other bone pain have been reduced a lot. I now feel and live as normal as I was in say 2007 but with reduced muscle strength and poor food digestion. I think I now need to tackle poor food digestion as well as intolerance, for which I intend to do Gene Test, t3 test, food intolerence test which hopefully will give some direction to move forward.

Food intolarance eg chicken, lamb, fish, causing me itching all over body along with swelling of skin on scalp. ( Hives). Once I stop those food, Hives almost goes away. No problems with other kind of protein so far.

My nutritionist says that you have to do trial and see what works & what does not and feel better.
