On of the members on TUK mentioned a product (thyrocosin") On googling this found it contained iodine, so maybe not suitable for everyone.

Not commenting on the product itself, but I get VERY upset by companies selling products with names that can only be designed and tailored to mislead potential customers.

If you are not very good at spelling, have a non-English speaking background, or are otherwise not on the ball (brain fog anyone?), it is all too easy to make a mistake.

We also see this with products called "T-3" which has no thyroid hormone whatsoever.

The product contains 100 micrograms of methylcobalamin (B12) per capsule - which would be 400 micrograms a day. Too little for those with absorption problems (diffusion only seems to have any useful effect from around 700 or so in a single dose).

Foxglove, that member had stopped taking Levothyroxine so it's probably ok for her to take iodine. Possibly not for those taking Levothyroxine, T3 or NDT, depending on how much iodine is contained.
