This is great. A little long but the time just flies. I felt as if I was actually in the audience - shouting out answers, raising my hand - and even taking notes! A must-Watch for everyone.

Thank you so much for posting this.........very helpful and easy to watch. Going to watch it again later. All this stuff we learn on this site is like a massive jigsaw but the pieces are getting put into place! Thanks again.

You're welcome. :) Yes, that's what I like about this video, it puts everything in context, joins up the dots. The dots I've had for a long time, but didn't know how they fitted together. I think it needs watching several times to get it all straight! lol

Well, I've accidentally interrupted the video half way through but it is marvelous, GG. I'm so glad he is explaining methylation. He and Dr. Bergman seem on the same page but he goes even further. So eat goji berries and drink beet juice. People who think eating and drinking anything they like are making a huge mistake considering what our livers are putting up with in this age of chemicals. Also the D3 deficiency can be attributed to so many problems like MS and psoriasis. I haven't heard yet what he says about the "grounding" on his shoe? Remember the discussions we've had here about earthing sheets? I do hope people will try watching and listening to this valuable information.

I hope so, too. It's all making so much sense! I want to see more of that man!!!

77 thousand chemicals introduced since 1940, no wonder the poor liver becomes toxic - thanks for posting GG :)

(I'm also a Dr Bergman fan)

Yes, it's frightening, isn't it. Poor us!

Thank you for posting grey. Only half way through but definitely learning plenty, like others I'll be hunting for goji berries and beet juice!

lol Good hunting!

grey - a quick look would indicate that goji berries are very high in both sugar and carbs.

I enjoyed the vid and learned plenty. Thanks for sharing.

Are they really? I haven't got round to researching them yet.

However, once, when I was staying with my friend, he gave me porridge for breakfast every morning with goji berries and black cumin sprinkled on top (I, of couse, added cream! lol) And at the end of the week, I felt so well!!! There was nothing else out of the ordinary that week, so I put it down to the goji and black cumin. So, they sound like a good idea to me.

I shall be buying both very soon, and going back to porridge for breakfast. With a dash of cream, of course! lol

Hmmm I just recently read that Goji berries are humbug. That it is called super food, but can barely beat an apple. But that was about it called super food. All red and blue berries are full of antioxidants regardless low vitamin and other stuff. So red and blue berries reduce oxidative stress!

I figure you would get the same benefit from any red or blue berry as always feel better when consuming tons of bilberries and they are mother of all super foods.

greygoose profile image
greygoose in reply to Justiina

Yup, I realise that. But it's difficult to get hold of bilberries and that sort of thing where I live. However, goji berries are available on the net freeze dried. You have to make do with what you can get! :)

I think any berry is good and improves health one way or another. :)

Some cases better than medication!

I totally agree with you, but the French Don't go in for eating berries very much. Besides, we're getting a bit off the point here. In the video, he was talking about methylation when he recommended goji berries. He wasn't saying they were a super food, just that they have certain properties that do a certain job. :)

Justiina in reply to greygoose

True! But I have let myself understand that any berry is good for methylation. Different benefits I think. Some through feeding good microbiota which is essential to handle B9 and some just reducing inflammation otherwise. And so on.

I tried to search for proper information of goji berries, but all I end up finding is either about it being super super super food or warnings about pesticides and possible radiation especially if it comes from China.

Also learned that you can grow one at home. That will be my next project! lol.

How do you make porridge?

greygoose profile image
greygoose in reply to faith63

Well, I Don't know what sort of oats you have where you live, but in France and England people usually buy Quaker porridge oats, which cook quickly.

You just put a cup of oats in a pan, with two cups of water, put it on a low heat and stir until it thickens.

There are other forms of oats and more elaborate ways of doing it, but that's how I do it. I usually then add sour cream and maple syrup. Yum yum! :)

So Porridge is just Oatmeal, all this time? Who knew. I used to buy GF Oats.

I have found out that i have a sensitivity to oats. I can't win. My stomach is terrible now and i eat nothing on my list of sensitivities.

Well, if he's not in pain, why put him down. Let him live as long as he can, poor baby. But it must be a terrible strain on you. Take care. x
