I'm just about to do a saliva test for cortisol problems. But I would like to try adrenal cortex whilst waiting for results. Can anyone advise if I'm wasting my time or it's worth a try.

There are two different ways to go with adrenal support depending on which area of the adrenals is affected. You can use licorice root and ginseng to stimulate but if it is from being exhausted you may need hydrocortisone instead. I think you should wait and get a better assessment through the saliva test.
Mischa, You won't do your adrenals any good if your cortisol levels show you don't need adrenal support. Better to wait for the test results.
