Eating healthy

I have recently got the all clear from follicular thryiod cancer , I'm just looking for food that is good for me any ideas ? I know about the low idione diet but looking for more ideas on trying to eat healthy

Nikki21, the low iodine diet is only necessary if you are awaiting radioactive iodine ablatement. After that you can eat anything you like other than any form of unfermented soy as soy isn't good and can affect absorption and uptake of Levothyroxine.

Good news that you've got the all-clear! I'm currently seeing a nutritionist for various digestive problems and have been surprised at her very wide-ranging knowledge. If you could find a well qualified one in your area I'm sure he or she would have really good ideas for you. Otherwise you may find some ideas here:
