Endocrinologist Recommendation?

Hi can anyone recommend or does anyone know of a good Endo in the North East of England, who treats the patient not just by lab results but symptoms and is open to other treatments like NDT, T3 and not just standard Levothyroxine? Preferably on NHS?

I had TT November 2012 with Graves' disease and Thyroid Eye Disease, have been struggling since on Levothyroxine only, decided to go my own way recently, at present on Naturthroid NDT, but would prefer the support from a specialist and the correct blood work doing including Free T3, RT3, adrenal/cortisol testing etc. Does such a thyroid specialist that cares enough exist in the North East? Or if not i'd look into considering travelling further afield. Can't really afford to see a private specialist. Thanks.

Lilac_Daze, email [e-mail] for a list of endos recommended by members. You may have to contact their offices ahead of making an appointment to confirm that they prescribe NDT and T3. NDT isn't licensed for UK use so few NHS doctors prescribe it.

You can post the name of doctors who look promising if you ask for feedback via private messages.

Clutter, thank you for your reply. I had been emailed the list of private endos before not long ago from Thyroid UK when i contacted them. Didn't seem to be many if any available in my area. Looks like i would have to pay to see one privately further afield then. I just thought i would ask anyway.
