Advice re my daughter

My daughter has an underactive thyroid . She is only on 25mch a day. recently she has had a small pea size lump at the side of her neck. It can be moved about when touched and is not really near to her thyroid. Also she says sometimes when she swallows she gets a sort of click in her throat. Anyone know about this.

It would probably be a good idea to check with the doctor. It sounds like an enlarged lymph node which may be due to an infection but could have other causes too. It is best to get it checked out just to make sure.

That is quite a low dose of thyroxine.

Yes that is all they will give her. She did have a slight intolerance at the beginning

and when she put it up o tiny bit herself she got a thumpy chest.
