Wendy, If you are on Carbimazole your dose needs reducing. FT4 below range means you have become hypo. FT3 seems low but I can't tell for sure without the ref range. If you aren't on Carbimazole you need Levothyroxine to be prescribed.
Painful joints are a hypo symptom.
I agree with clutter. I read somewhere recently that if you have graves then your TSH may not rise with decreasing t4 and t3 levels as it normally would and that TSH should not be used alone in such cases. Treatment should be according to your t4 and t3 levels. You are definitely hypothyroid by these results.
If you can't convince this doctor you need thyroxine, or a decrease in carbimazole if you are taking it, it would probably be wise to see a different doctor who knows about the specifics of treating Graves' disease.
