Wealth Distribution In America

This is a short, 5 minute or so, video on the real wealth distribution in America. It is more skewed than I realized. I wonder how it stacks up in England? PR

does Bill still have as much $s as is in the USA circulation?

I suspect ours (UK) looks slightly more even due to our (attractive to others - funded by us tax-payers) benefit 'culture' (& talking to USA teachers who buy their class-kids shoes). There's an election here - so no real statistics!

I hid from the rent man, the kids' 'ssh' game ... yet never got off the bus with designer clothes...

From last year in the UK came this article. To be fair a lot of the problem is the house price difference between the north and the London area. theguardian.com/uk-news/201...

No numbers for you, but this article has just appeared on the BBC News website about poverty in the UK :

about right... yet "Schools cannot be expected to pick up the pieces." - breakfast clubs and libraries open before & after school (volunteers).

schools are expected to do more and more - but no funding for those not in 'traditional 'urban area of poverty - "Spatial inequality"....

yet all kids donate their £1s for 'non-uniform day' ... for charity....

We are becoming 'globalized'. Thank you Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger. So ironic. They went to China because they were hoping to sell American products to the Chinese. LOL! That worked out well, didn't it?

$900 billion USA debt in 2011?...

has the UK managed to pay off the war debt yet? do we owe China now?

- yet still we pay the most in the EU whilst most have a siesta? Crazy 'ole world...

I will never understand, I never could afford to have a loan...

(I lie - I have a mortgage)

GW Bush borrowed from China to fund his wars. I'm not sure really how that's worked out for the profiteers but for the rest of everyone else, it hasn't been a positive.

Wealth could mean misery & never enough (even 20 pieces of silver?)

there's another meaning 'tho... knowledge - we shouldn't take that with us either... lol!

(share!)

if we all just stopped using money and just exchanged our labour maybe this would save our planet, our planet is around 50% extinct. so we have to get to a point where we stop being divided money, religion, class, language, even 9/11 is used to separate us and stop us from talking to each other once we unite then we can stop the insanity that has engulfed our planet.

Remember the families that control our world print the money on paper which comes from trees this is why banks have branches. yet we are all so brainwashed we think it actually means something to have more than someone else yet we are all committing suicide by listening to quite possibly the lowest forms of scum this universe has ever produced.

this is why its so funny when people who believe in a god are actively enhancing the destruction of this planet by not fighting for it,

all we have to do is to withdraw our tax contributions from our corrupt governments and form good neighbourhood councils where we all take an active part in the maintenance of our post codes,

If we stopped using money and exchanged our labour, a lot of us would starve.

in reply to greygoose

No you wouldn't vertical farming is becoming common and you can all grow your own food even in a flat and seeds are the most nutritious things you can eat these sprout in 3-5 days. we only need a tiny amount of food to survive the amount we all consume is lunacy the majority of us can go around 25 days without food as long as we have pure water.

all we do is stop the exchange of money we all still go to work at the start,

our trees are either dying or just emitting carbon we only have around 3 years left at the rate we are going.

if we stopped the consumption of oil and introduce the free energy devices this would immediately benefit mankind but most people want to tell you they believe in a god and yet they still destroy its planet, the only way the ruling class have controlled us is by dividing us and poisoning us.

although most people don't seem to want to get on with each other and this is because of Television brainwashing us, have a look at the children playing in playschool/kindergarten do you see them worrying what colour skin they are no its so its purely down to brainwashing.

I think david rockerfeller was quoted as saying the ruling class cannot believe how well TV has worked In creating narcissism

says it all really

the ruling class are some of the lowest forms of life in the universe people think that the queen is a nice human yet she is the one that controls all the uranium mining have a look at how many nuclear power plants there are how many people have been killed directly by her just because they won't use thorium instead of uranium.

most people don't get what this world could be like because they have had their minds supressed and retarded by chemicals we have been poisoned for 200 years and in the last 60 years it ahs been a full out assault to smash us by just a handful of insane so called humans

Very interesting and believable. When Jesus said, "The poor will be with you always", it is because he knows exactly how sinful humans behave. He also said it would be like fitting through the head of a needle for rich to enter into his kingdom. So, be happy if you aren't one of those.

Ha Ha, Sparerib. I think he meant a big camel and a big, rich, fat guy. Did you watch George Carlin on the proceeding videos? He was so accurate in his assessment, too. His language is not as pure as Jesus', however!

in reply to Heloise

one way of looking at this is from a chemical perspective the last part of the brain to develop in a male is the frontal cortex this is fully developed at the age of 25 females are developed at the age 18 (lead is In most make up which creates anger and lowers intelligence)

when we are breathing in carbon monoxide and benzene which replaced lead this restricts the amount of oxygen in our atmosphere our brains need 20.6% oxygen you only get around 15% if you live in a city so are brains are constantly being retarded by starvation of oxygen also the interference of electro magnetic devices and the radiation that other devices which have been put around our cities has been proven to restrict our intelligence.

the reasoning part of our brains is in the frontal cortex when this part has been retarded it inhibits the right and wrong decision making process in our brains so the ruling class have deliberately targeted this in us.

I could tell you so much more yet most of you would not believe it due to the conditioning of your minds, you have to understand your governments are full of some of the worst criminals on this planet that are then blackmailed into cooperation by a few families.

this is why taking Iodine is so important as it removes the chemical blockages in your brain as well as sulphur and boron why do you think they have removed these from our foods?

jinni, I agree with much of what you say. People are distracted with having to make a living or raising families, they aren't awake to some of those realizations. We have all been manipulated and the earth is so contaminated everywhere, and those problems that appeared years ago have continued to escalate with hardly a blip. We are on the verge of self destruction.

Jesus also said he was going to save the world and it's a good thing because there is no chance we can save ourselves.

in reply to Heloise

aah that's where your wrong we can save ourselves all we have to do is stand together,

do you want to stand in front of god if you believe we get judged and tell him I was waiting for someone else to do it and I did nothing to fight for your planet and others.

the ruling class have made it seem such a daunting task by using the media to show it as a worldwide problem this makes us think it is such a huge task that we cannot win as it is on a global level they are extremely clever at how they manipulate our thinking,

the way to beat them is to set up what I call good neighbourhood councils where we take away the responsibility of maintaining our post codes from the governments/councils and now corporations (due to the corruption that has become the norm in our society)

you think about all the lonely people in our areas that have nothing to do, print some leaflets up talk in your church, doctors surgery where ever,

start groups that clean the area grow food educate the children you will have electricians painters blah blah blah.

once this catches on you can then withdraw your tax contributions to the government which I guarantee you are voluntary it is actually very simple although it need someone to be brave enough who wants to fight for god and his creation go and tell this to your vicar and find out if he is genuine or not I bet you he will try and turn you off the idea then you will see who he really works for.

jinni, I admire that you are even thinking about this issue but we have already rejected our Creator once and this is what independence has brought us. Jesus will restore this earth through his administration so let's admit we are not Gods and show faith in the ones who really are. Especially now that we are on the precipice. It is daunting and we have had enough violence by people who think they will cleanse the earth. This restoration will even transcend death and you know we do not have that power. Everything is working according to plan.

Nixon left the gold standard in 1971 ,this has directly led to unfettered credit and money printing. More debt. In US 70% of GDP is consumption, manufacturing has fallen from 24% to 12% since 71. The central bank creates money and lends it to the banks and their cronies. Pretty much free money but debt for consumers.

The house builders got trillions in credit from the Fed and buyers had $ 14 trillion of debt used to buy overpriced housing. When this was clearly unplayable the Fed did not help homeowners but bailed out the banks .

The same has happened here with RBS and Lloyds.

Look where theEU is heading,Juncker has said " We all know what to do,we just don't know how to get re- elected after we do it" As he said re the Greek crisis in 2011: " When it becomes serious ,you have to lie."

It might have been better to let banks fail and protect the savings not the shareholders and bankers. It has just enabled the rich to get richer by increasing their assets.

Very interesting PR4Now. We have our poor too in the UK. During and after the war the children were well-fed through daily balanced 'rations'.

"Fourteen years of food rationing in Britain ended at midnight on 4 July 1954, when restrictions on the sale and purchase of meat and bacon were lifted".

Now about 70 years later there are 'food banks/kitchens' in many places throughout the UK and also homelessness because no or little affordable housing is available whilst the centre of London's finest homes have been snapped up by the Extremely Wealthy foreigners, some who don't even live in them. (You have to put your excess monies in properties rather than banks).

I heard on the radio today that some children are going to school not properly clothed in this cold weather, no socks even. If they've also gone to school without breakfast too and maybe no hot meal at night they're going to have a serious health issues.

Spareribs profile image
Spareribs in reply to shaws

At least we still have free school meals, and this has been extended to all KS1 primary school children. Makes such a difference when kids can just eat, that we have hot food at break and lunchtime at out school - and behaviour is 'outstanding'. :)

How can anyone concentrate when hungry? they either....

a) faint or want to sleep/hibernate

b) get distracted - probably looking for food!

c) want to go & kill something to eat - display "anger"

Obama is the down fall of this once great country. He has caused us to become in more debt than any other Pres. So many here are unhappy, angry about the health care change everything. Just devastating!

PR4NOW profile image
PR4NOW in reply to faith63

Unfettered greed has been the downfall of this country, not Obama. He had dumped into his lap the economic mess left by the two previous Presidents, Bush and Clinton. Clinton wanted to make housing affordable for those that couldn't afford to pay for it and Bush passed two tax cuts while trying to fund two wars off the books. The regulators were asleep at the wheel in both administrations. Facing the greatest recession since the great depression he followed standard economic policy and primed the pump, although the policies were too lax on the banks and still are. Greed has corrupted government all the way to the state level. Greed has corrupted medical research to the point where the term is for the most part an oxymoron. The last report I saw said the lobbyists spend 28 million per congressperson per year, that is almost 1.5 billion and it is just the legal money. As Will Rogers said in the 1930s, "We have the best congress money can buy."

I am also disappointed Obama didn't accomplish more but he is not the root cause of the problems here in the US, he just makes a handy scapegoat. PR

i disagree..i believe obama has at least, finished this country off.
