For Loo44 - blood tests, can anybody help

Well, perhaps you could explain to her what they all are? I Don't know if it even gives ranges, just looks like 'test' 'value' and 'date'!

A lot of doctors seem to do this now

C reactive protein is testing for inflammation as is erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). It looks like there is no inflammation but I'm not sure without a range.

Various antibodies have been tested, presumably testing for various autoimmune diseases such as lupus. That appears to be negative at the moment.

Haemaglobin and MCV look good suggesting she isn't anaemic.

WBC is white blood count. Other white blood cells tested are lymphocytes and neutrophils. I don't really know much about these.

PLT is platelets, involved in clotting.

The last ones are liver and kidneys but I don't know if they are ok without lab ranges. I suspect they would have an L or H after them if they were abnormal. I think after the bottom of the photo there may be bone related tests.

I will have to look up the others.

Yes, the do seem to, Don't they. I think it's all about hanging on to the power. They Don't want us to have our results. They Don't want us to understand them. They still want to act like gods and be the sole masters of our fate! Well, tough luck, chummy! The revolution is on the way! lol

Complements are proteins involved in the development of inflammation. They are tested if lupus is suspected. Both are within the normal range according to one website I found. It looks like she doesn't have lupus or other inflammatory disease but these tests are not conclusive.

GG, CRP <2.0 is good. The higher CRP goes the more inflammation is indicated.

The labtestsonline site is useful for working out what tests are for. It doesn't give reference ranges though. There are several tests in the list that I have never heard of :

All the other tests are fairly standard ones, found in checking for inflammation, a full blood count, and liver/kidney function tests. All of them can be looked up on labtestsonline :

Thank you everyone. I think Rheumy has said no to RA, lupus but a possible yes to Sjögren's syndrome. Also told I have fibromyalgia xx

Fibromyalgia is not a disease, but a symptom of one. It is being tender, with wide spread pain. Hypothyroid/hashimotos have this as a symptom..often. I did.
