I'm thinking of self treating as my long road with the NHS is nearly at an end (6 months & counting, not including the previous 11 years of seeking help for individual symptoms!)
I would like recommendations for safe natural thyroid products and dosage etc. I probably won't start it until April, when I have my next thyroid scan. I also need to push for a thyroglobulin antibody test (TPO was neg, but had pos ANA test), and check that the iron and B12 supplementing is working.
PM me with recommendations.
Also any poss/neg experiences of self treating and NDT would be great!
Thanks in advance!

Winegum, the only 'natural' thing about NDT is that T3 and T4 is derived from dried pig thyroid instead of being synthetically produced. The tablets are pharmaceutically produced and contain most of the fillers other tablets do.
I'm not bothered about that Clutter. Using NDT is my only option as I remain undiagnosed. It also seems to work much better for people, so if I was diagnosed, I would request it from the outset. But I need to know what I am buying is safe and without medical supervision, how to use it.
