To split or not to split - dose

I have increased to 2 1/2 grains Armour thyroid. The Functional Medical Practitioner said to split the dose when I reach 3 grains. I have already tried splitting the dose but sometimes forget the 2nd and timing is difficult. Does anybody take the whole dose before breakfast? No difference in how I feel either way.

Yes, it is o.k. to take the full dose as recommended by Dr Lowe . I take my T3 in one dose as did Dr Lowe whose dose of T3 only was 150mcg. Go to the date January 30, 2002 to read, but all of the answers could be read for knowledge. It is a nuisance to split doses and you are not as 'free' when you take it once daily.

If you don't feel any different either way I would stick to once a day, much easier. I take mine twice a day ( 2 grains) as I felt hyper when I took the whole dose in the morning. Good luck with NDT.
