Think you should edit this - blank out your personal details and put your results up again. Your B12 is very low, you want it at least half way through the range. You can boost it with some sublingual Methylcobalamin. Someone else will come along with info onthe other results but I would get rid of your personal details 😊
Oh ok thank you I didn't realise my details are shown but I don't know how to edit
You can edit the text by clicking on the little downward arrow on the right where it says 'Reply' . A pop up box lets you edit or delete. How you did it with a sheet of paper over the details works just fine. Suppose you could also move your camera in closer to the text and just get the part you want, but you've got rid of all the private stuff 😊
Hi Weebella
I will only comment on two and other members will respond.
Your B12 is too low and you should aim towards the upper level. B12 is a hormone even though it's called Vitamin B12. Buy sublingual methylcobalamin B12 as it will go into your bloodstream, instead of into your stomach. Some of us have low acid or problems with stomach which will then not absorb ordinary B12. You can buy supplements from Amazon which are quite reasonable. You cannot take too much B12 as excess is excreted in urine when the body absorbs what it needs for that day.
I cannot see clearly your folate No. if it is 3 it's too low and someone will recommend what you should take to bring it up. We have to aim to have vitamins/minerals towards to the upper range when we have autoimmune diseases.
Ty so much for your help shaws my folate is 8 is that ok???
Aaaarrrgggg I'm so confused about all of this 😂😂😡
No it's ok its not that complicated.
Your vitamin B12 is on the low side at 247 but because it falls within the lab range - the figures shown beside it - your doctors will probably tell you it's fine. The lab ranges are usually pretty wide so it is best if you are well up within the ranges.
Get yourself some Methylcobalamin - I get Jarrows sublingual from Amazon and it's good. Avoid the cyanocobalamin you can buy in some health stores, it's cheaper but it's not what you want to take.
Your folate is half way through the range at 8 but Clutter was saying if it had been 3 (it wasn't) that is low so you could take a B Complex vitamin along with the B12.
If you want to know more about B12 you could google 'benefits of B12' and read more about it.
Hope that helps.
