Help re a future blood test

I have a bit of a dilemma. I am currently prescribed 45 mcg T3 by an endo. At my last apt he told me to stay on this dose until he sees me again in March. As I still have lots of hypo symptoms I have increased to 47 and half mcg T3 to see if this helps. However, I will then have to reduce back to 45 mcg so my blood test reflects this as I am keen for him to continue to give me this dose. (He refuses to give me an increase as my TSH is 0.13 and my FT3 is 5.4). How long before the blood test will I have to reduce meds to achieve this.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks shaws. I didn't know if I would have to drop the dose for weeks or days. I know it Is short acting.

It goes into you bloodstream quickly but the effect of the T3 in the receptor cells lasts between 1 and 3 days.

Thanks shaws, will allow several days at a lower dose before blood test.
