latest blood results - any advice please.

After posting previous results and being advised here to request a trial of Levo I did, and have been on 50mg since October. Just got the latest blood results back which, to my inexperienced eye, look good and are deemed Normal - no action by the English GP

TSH 0.6 (0.4-5.0)

FT3 4.1 (2.6-5.7)

FT4 16 (9-19)

Although I do feel better than before and everything seems to be going in the right direction I still don't feel 100%. Am I being too impatient to expect a full recovery in such a short time after having years and years of symptoms? Should I stick at this dose?

Thanks for your help everyone.

Below are my previous results prior to starting the Levo - from a French lab which may account for the slightly different ranges.

TSH 4.15 (.27- 4.20) previous test in June 2014 was 3.70

FT3 2.63 (2- 4.4) previously 3.22

FT4 1.25 (1.00-1.60) previously 1.28

TP0ab 13.5 (below 34)

TgAb 4.2 (below 115)

TSH Antibodies .63 (below 1.50)

Iron 104 (37-145) previously 80

Calcium 91 (86.100)

Ferritin 124 (13 - 150) previously 105

Folate 8.4 (above 6.00)

B12 449 (191-663)

Vit D2/D3 108 (48-144) previously 55 + treated

Your latest results look fine but it's how you feel that is the best indicator. As you still feel you could be a bit better, ask for 25mcg increase. It is o.k. to have a low or suppressed TSH. Maybe ask if GP will add 10mcg of T3 instead of 25mcg levo.

Thanks Shaws. I'll ask but don't hold out much hope of T3 being added!

Mama-Clutch, your bloods look good now but it does take a while for the *feelgood factor* to catch them up, particularly if you've been symptomatic for a long time as there is a lot of 'correcting' going on.

You could try to negotiate a dose increase of 25mcg or 50mcg/75mcg alternate days but it may be a battle if your GP thinks TSH needs to be kept in range.

Thank you Clutter. Continuing brain fog means I should re-read the article from Louise!
