I have been having a rough time with swollen thyroid nodules and hyper flares since september. am on T3 and no gluten and TgAbs are high

Is it normal to have so many hyper active flares with Hashi's as I thought overactive went with graves

Anyone else had/have overactive spells?

It is normal with Hashimoto's, but the nhs will try to tell you otherwise. It is a progressive disease with fluctuating symptoms, which is why it needs constant monitoring and is so hard to manage.
