Can someone give me advice on Nutri supplements please.

Hello everyone. I`ve posted recently that I`ve crashed after 2 weeks on 75 mcg levothyroxine. While I`m still getting small snatches of feeling ok, mostly in the evening, I`m really struggling the rest of the time.

My body seems to be crying out for more levo. I`m getting more tired by the day with aching joints and muscles. I`m sleeping more and more and can barely keep my eyes open most of the time. I`ve got another 10 days before my next blood test, which can`t come quickly enough.

I`ve been reading old posts and noticed a lot of you are taking Nutri supplements and wondered if they may help me?

I know nothing about what good/harm they could do and wondered if someone could explain if they may be beneficial in supporting my climb to my optimal dose of levothyroxine?

If so, which ones would be the best?

Any information on them and where to buy them would be really great. Thank you so much in advance.

Thanks for your reply reallyfedup.

I`ve been supplementing with iron, D3, B12, selenium for a few weeks now. I `managed` to get my B12 checked before I supplemented that and it was 600+. Because it is such hard work to get the GP`s to check the others, I`m thinking of trying Blue Horizon and doing it myself. I`d prefer a the finger prick test as again it would be easier.

I was feeling `reallyfedup` myself since writing my post so called my GP, who has raised my levo to 100 mcg.

I`m about to make another post about that.

Thanks for your help

Thank you. I`ve just added another post since I`ve spoken to a GP.

I take nutri adrenal extra about tree hours after thyroid meds and at lunch time take nutri thyroid complex which contains vitamins to support the thyroid ..

Thank you Maggiemay

Do you also take levothyroxine? I`m not sure if I can take them both together. Also do they help?

Was on levothyroxine for nearly five years and took the nutri adrenal extra which could not do without .had a lot off problems this year with levo so changed to NDT. I take both to help me ,will take the nutri thyroid complex for a few months at least then properly stop for a while ,see how I feel .
