Tight throat and uncomfortable prickling sensation …

I have always been negative for antibodies so I don’t think it is a Hashi’s flare.
Any idea what this might be?

Anstey, it could be your thyroid trying to produce more hormone which may make it a little swollen or it may be a sore throat/virus.
HI Clutter, I saw your reply to the sore throat question. I've been having similar issues: tightness, sore after speaking, a little tender when I swallow. So do you think this could just be the thyroid starting to kick in?
