help with recent blood test...

serum TSH level (0.4 -5.0)...Abnormal

serum T4 level (9 -19)

serum vitamin B12 (189 -883)

serum folate (4.8 -19.0)

serum ferritin (5 -204)

serum calcium (2.2 -2.6)

serum cholesterol (2.0 -5.0)

serum creatinine (49 -90)

serum iron level (7 -26)

serum magnesium level (0.7 -1.0)

serum inorganic phosphate (0.80 -1.50)

serum sodium (133 -146)

serum HDL cholesterol level (1.2 -1.7)

serum potassium (3.5 -5.3)

serum alkaline phosphatase (30 -130)

serum transferrin (2.00 -3.60)

calcium adjusted level (2.2 -2.6)

FULL BLOOD COUNT.....haemoglobin estimation (110 -150)

total white blood cells count(4 -11)

platelet count (4 -11)

red blood cell(RBC) count (3 .8 - 4. 8) Abnormal

haematocrit (0.36 -0.460

mean corpuscular volume (80 -100)

mean corpusc haemoglogin 27- 32)

mean corpusc Hb conc (320 -360)

neutrophil count (2.0 -7.5)

lymphocyte count (1.5 -4.0)

monocyte count(0.2 -1.0)

Eosinophil count (0.02 -0.5)

had no cortisol done

have concerns though,in the past 3 blood test below have came bk abnormal and doctor hasn't told me about these from blood test .

13/10/14...serum TSH level...abnormal.....was told this

14/5/14....mean corpusc....abnormal

I was on 100 mg thoxine,2 weeks before recent bloos done on 13/10/14 increased thyoxine to 125mg ,doctor said ok and see h0w I go as was feeling tired,sence then had to go bk to doc and he said we blood results on to much tyoxine and do 100mg one day and 125mg another,I was feeling ok,but sometimes get heavy feeling in throat,came anybody put any light to blood test please.

I think you have left out all the results and just put reference ranges or have you posted them earlier?

although is a big post,ranges are there in the brackets,,,,,,the bottom part is explains what I past was brought up.

shaws always states ranges are the ones in the brackets.....hope this helps xx

Results should normally look something like this (just a made-up example) :

Serum TSH Level 1.3 (0.4 - 5.0)

The actual level is the 1.3. The reference range i.e. the range the doctors think is healthy is the 0.4 - 5.0.

In the example I've given the actual level is within the reference range and would be classed as normal.

In the results you have written in your post above, you have given us the range (0.4 - 5.0) but you haven't told us what your actual level is - all we can tell from what you have written is that it is abnormal - but that could mean your TSH level is anything from 5.1 to over 100, or it could be less than 0.4. We need the actual level as well as the range.
