Adrenal Fatigue

Hi everyone! I'm thinking about trying an adrenal support supplement in addition to the vitamins and minerals I already take.

I've looked at the Nutri Advanced Adrenal but it's not vegetarian so this puts me off. Can anyone suggest a good veggie alternative?

Thank you.

Google "Adrenal Fatigue, nutritional deficiencies", and you'll find what you

need.

You may need to read quite a few of the sites offered, to find one with

lots of detail, but they're there.

Hope you can get sorted, adrenal fatigue's pretty inconvenient isn't it!

It's a good idea to do away with what doesn't please you in your life too,

as quite often that/they are a large part of the cause. X

Thank you very much for your reply. I have had a lot of stress periodically for the last 10 years, starting when my Dad died. I'm in another stressful phase and want to try to better support myself.

Currently I'm unable to rationally cope with any stress very well! Not sure if I have adrenal fatigue but I figure supplements are worth a try.

BlueMundo, I hope it's kosher for me to give you this link to help

you with your adrenal fatigue.

It's imperative that you fix the problem, before it becomes Chronic

Fatigue Syndrome (if it hasn't already), which is very expensive to

treat, and only through a Clinical Nutritionist - NOT a dietician.

For your adrenal exhaustion, ei-resource.org/illness-inf... .

Big hug for you :)

Thank you very much for the link. I've had Hashi for over 15 years and been stressed for one reason or another for most of that time it feels! I've never addressed adrenal fatigue until now so I value your help.

AD206....look into that I take it. (BioCare)

Thank you I will. I currently take a B Complex supplement so I'd need to check what's in my current one vs Bio Care. I hadn't realised that the B vits are the basis of adrenal support?

Can I ask what benefits you have found with the Bio Care? The Nutri Advanced Adrenal say not to take a dose after 1pm (is this to do with 'energy' they provide?) Being Hashi I'm always looking to improve my energy levels!

Thank you.

Yes, They don't make it anymore but there was a product called ZBEC Stress Tabs which contained: zinc, b complex, folate, vitamins E and C. I was good stuff but out competed by all the products on the market today.

Adrenals also need lots of VitC...and of course T3 was also good for your adrenals.

Hi. I think that Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice root (DGL) is very good.

Thank you. I think I saw licorice root listed in the Bio Care supplement but not Deglycyrrhizinated licorice root. Is there a difference?

Sorry for asking what may be a stupid question!

Thanks.

Dgl is safer. Liquorice root can raise your blood pressure.

amazon.co.uk/Jarrow-Formula...

there are a couple of other vegetarian options here too. You may find quite a bit of crossover with your other supplements though.
