Genova test kits, and Thyroid UK as a referrer.

When I order diagnostic test kits from Genova, the online diagnostic testing laboratory, and say that my referrer is "Thyroid UK", am I only allowed to request specific thyroid related test kits from them, or can I order any of their test kits? They do quite a few, and I'm interested in quite a few of them, but some of them aren't specifcally aimed at testing the thyroid.

If the list of Genova test kits are restricted for "public consumption" based on Thyroid UK being the referrer, can anyone please tell me which test kits they are?

Hi

You can order any test and say that Thyroid UK are your practitioner. This will allow you to get a copy of your test results.

Please note that you cannot order the tests online, only over the phone.

Thanks a lot Louise. I did just wonder something however. I went here:

and downloaded Genova's TUK related test kit leaflet, and noticed that the number of tests on it are greatly reduced from the number that appear on their website.

For instance, alongside various thyroid tests, I would also like to order other test kits such as stool and urine tests, for other problems in the body. Can I still do this, with TUK as my referrer?

The list shows the tests that Thyroid UK have a special arrangement for, but you should be able to order any test with Thyroid UK as your practitioner.
