Good more publicity for the dreadful state of affairs regarding treatment for hypothyroidism.

Hell yeah! I've been adding to it!!

Has anyone noticed the 'presumably' GP who's been down-voting the strongly-worded rantettes?

As have I.

I noticed large green numbers next to many comments.

I'll go back and look for red down-marks :o(

Good to see so many vocal sufferers although it's worth bearing in mind that some time ago a 'medical professional' who'd read a Pulse article actually disliked our comments and dismissed us by referring to us as Daily Mail readers.

So, there you go, a 'medical professional' sneering at us.

I don't think I've ever actually read the Daily Mail - but now all papers are online one may peek at a broad spectrum of news. Not that the dismissive doc cares about that. However - Daily Mail readers are many and they know what they want. So I am happy to be counted as being of their number.

Someone commented on the Daily Mail helping out more and help change peoples lives. Anyway we could collaborate with them? It would be great to make this common knowledge :)

Why not send a link to your friends, folks? Even if they don't know you have thyroid issues. Might make 'em think ... Every time I send a thyroid-related link round (usually to the petition - do you know about the petition?) another friend or relative of a friend or a friend of a friend turns out also to have thyroid issues. We don't trumpet our troubles. It is arguably time we did. I had no success at all getting a helpful dialogue with my MP, or the Health Department. Perhaps if the Daily Mail can be persuaded to take it on we shall get somewhere. Do leave something on the article, if only a 'like'. Unfortunately you have to sign up to something Daily Mail-ish. But it is simple to do. And you can always unsubscribe when this has died down ;o)
