I have been unstable for the last 10 months on levo and either swinging from hypo to hyper on 50-100 mcg levo thyroxine. All other tests have come back normal. I have been feeling very ill for last 6 weeks so gp ready to refer me. Getting to see a good endo is critical as I can't waste any more time. I appreciate your advice. Thankyou.
Can anyone recommend a thyroid endo Cardiff/ Br... - Thyroid UK
Can anyone recommend a thyroid endo Cardiff/ Bristol way ( or further) who has a private practice. I am based in Swansea.
I am based in Swansea and see a lovely doctor in London called Dr Georges Mouton gmouton.com
He's not cheap, but is incredibly thorough. I have been seeing him for the last five years, and can't help but feel that without him, I wouldn't have become pregnant and wouldn't have carried the baby to full term.
He is very good, and looks at the whole of your biochemistry, and therefore, suggests foods to exclude, if need be, and also prescribes T3, if need be.
Thanks for getting back to me. I have had a good read of his profile. I am interested but hoping to find someone a bit closer first. I have heard about Dr Dayan in Cardiff but have no idea what his approach is. Its so hard trying to find the right guy isn't it. Thanks anyway.
Hi, sorry I realise this is an old post but did you find a good one in the Swansea/Cardiff area? I did search and you post came up? Would be ever so grateful if you could let me know if you did see and endo you would recommend.
Thanks
D
