Anything else?

I posted my blood results ( thyroid ) a couple of days ago, and according to them I should be jumping through hoops!

GP ordered liver function tests etc.which are normal.

The increase in Thyroxine is starting to kick in after 4weeks and I feel marginally better, but still tired , nauseous etc.

My question is , as I am seeing my lovely but ill informed about thyroid GP soon, are there any more things I should ask him to check?

I also take Apixaban. ( which is a new anticoagulant ) and

Diltiazem. A blood pressure tablet.

Also can anyone tell me how to access locked messages as it won't let me .

Thank you guys

Pinkpeony, Make sure you take your anticoagulant at least four hours away from Levothyroxine and your BP meds two hours away. Ask for a repeat thyroid function test 6 weeks after starting the anticoagulant in case it has affected thyroxine absorption.

Ask your GP to test ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate as they are often low or deficient in hypothyroid patients and can make you feel very ropey.

It must be a glitch preventing you seeing locked posts. HU members should be able to see them. Please email support@healthunlocked.com
