Why are the soles of my feet sore?

Since this heatwave started I have terrible heat intolerance. Muscles are aching in my legs and finding it very difficult to walk . Also exausted and irritable, and really affecting my work performance as a nursery assistant. Any ideas how to ease these symptoms?

If you were feeling o.k. before the heatwave, maybe reduce your meds by 25mcg as sometimes we have to adjust our medication if the weather is too cold, increase or too hot, decrease.

Thank you shaws, I thought that might be the problem, but was scared to decrease in case it made me worse. Was feeling ok before the heat. Will try this tomorr. When do I up it again?

Hi,

Have you had your vit d3 checked, mine were sore and my d3 was 12, deficient. Started treatment and the pain went away. It came back this year but only after I stopped supplementing. Restarted d3 and pain gone in days.

Don't think going out in the sun is enough d3, you can't wash your skin for 48 hours to get the effect of it.

In very hot weather, we perspire more than usual; if it's not also humid, this may not be noticeable, as the perspiration will evaporate instead of making you feel wet or sticky. It's important to drink plenty of water or other non-caffeinated liquid to stay hydrated. Loss of potassium is a common problem when we lose water by any route, so you might want either to take a supplement or just eat bananas or oranges, both of which are excellent sources of potassium.
