Cortisol test ??

Hi all, I thought I'd ask the expects this question as I cannot get a sensible answer from the 'professionals'.

I have had a morning (10am) random cortisol blood result of 379. What does this mean ? I was told its normal but was given no range.

I am due to have a short synacthen test on Monday and I'm due to see the endo on Tuesday so wanted to be well informed beforehand.

Hi, I very recently had a cortisol blood test at 9am and it came back at 352, the normal range said:

(Basal 171-536, Evening 64-327)
