Several years ago I had a thyroid operation wherein a part of my thyroid was removed. I have never taken any drugs.
Varkie, welcome to the forum. Ask your GP receptionist for a printout of your recent thyroid results with the lab ref ranges. Post a new question with your results and the lab ref ranges (the figures in brackets after your result) and members will comment/advise. The range is very broad and anything in range will be considered normal by a GP but isn't necessarily normal or optimal for you.

The first thing you have to do is get a copy of your blood test results, with the ranges, from your surgery. We are entitled to them. Post them on a new question for members to comment. Always get copies for your own records.
With regard to thyroid gland blood tests, the GPs know little, particularly about clinical symptoms on which they appear to know nothing at all.
