Is the BRAF mutation in Thyroid Cancer tested for in the UK?

Hello,

So I've been doing a bit more research today and the American Thyroid Association often mention the BRAF mutation in thyroid Cancer. I wondered if anyone knows if the NHS in the UK would have tested my Cancerous thyroid nodule for this mutation following its removal.

Sorry you had no replies... thyroid cancer doesn't come up very often on here I'm afraid...
