Help needed with test results as suffering with chronic pain throught the night.

I sm being treated for underactive thryroid and just hsd another increase in meds was on 50 mg now on 75mg

I am due for another blood test but on last reading my Tsh was 4.7. Has come down from 7.

I have been suffering with many symptoms but lately in constant pain throught the night. Yes joints are a little stiff but bareable its mainly muscle pain. Thighs, lower legs, shoulder with numbness and tingling. Finding it hard to do the smallest of chores around the house its like my muscles wont work they ache like after a 5 mile run and all Ive done is swept the floor.

I have a niece with s.l.e anothe niece with m.s and one with m.e.

Also both mother and sister with thyroid problems.

full blood count was normal

These result were taken over the phone so no print out yet I really dont know the meaning of those test so could do with a little help.

I hope your next blood test will show your TSH to be much lower.

On levo I had constant widespread pain. I think enough thyroid hormone isn't getting into our cells (just my idea). When some T3 was added it helped a lot. Sometimes a change of make of levo can make a difference too as we may be sensitive to fillers/binders. It is trial and error to try to recover our health.

T3 is the active hormone all our billions of cells need for our body to function. If T4 isn't converting properly to enough T3 we wont feel well.

The following may help but take supplements 4 hours apart from levo (you take levo on wakening with 1 glass of water and eat 1 hour later). If you supplement with iron, take this much later as it can bind with levo and you wont have any benefit.

I was having similar problems .I was found to have low vit d and after a few months on a prescriptive dose my symptoms have improved
