Muscle spasms and muscle tear.

I have been having muscle spasms again. Each time my doctor raises the dosage on my NDT they start to get better, but they always come back, though not as bad as they were before. My calf muscles have been feeling particularly tight over the last week. On Sunday, I was going up the stairs and I felt something rip. Ended up in the ER and sure enough one of my calf muscles tore. The doctor gave me some trigger point injections, to hopefully get the swelling down and to help it heal faster, put me in a cast and has me crutches. A few days later and it does not seem to be getting better. Has anyone else experienced these weird muscle cramps and am I not healing quickly because of the Hashi's? Thoughts? Opinions?

Can you post your recent thyroid blood tests with lab ref ranges and tell us how much NDT you are taking? Impossible to tell whether you are optimally medicated otherwise.

Magnesium deficiency?

I use to get it when on thyroxine. Changed to t3 went away. My bed use to look like a war zone. Having said that i always had salt at bed side and when sever took small dose of salt it helped.
