I am investigating possible thyroid surgery.

Hi Celora, I have to say they all sound good on paper, certainly better than the ones I am dealing with at present. Is this an NHS Hospital? I am thinking of changing myself and son, but would also consider private for my son as legally I could not 'self-treat' him as he is special needs. They all sound as though they have had good training. Janet.

As you say - looks great on the website! It has been suggested that I have thyroid surgery/RAI - so am looking at all the possibilities.

My research shows that Professor Kim is a consultant ENT/Thyroid surgeon at Queen Alexandra, Portsmouth and St Richard's, Chichester NHS Trusts. So your gp should be able to give you a referral. Perhaps call Prof Kim's office to make sure it is the correct direction for you and your son?
