I think vitamin C can help iron absorption...

Others can attempt to help if you give more info e.g Thyroid blood tests or scan results.

d-limonene is also found in caraway seeds. The lemon juice also contributes due to its High alcalinity.

Alkalizes the system thus protects from oxidative stress, also has antibacterial properties. Lemon essential oil enhances mood. "In animal studies and laboratory tests with human cells, compounds in citrus fruits, including lemons and limes, called limonoids have been shown to help fight cancers of the mouth, skin, lung, breast, stomach and colon. Now, scientists from the US Agricultural Research Service (ARS) have shown that our bodies can readily absorb and utilize a very long-acting limonoid called limonin that is present is citrus fruits in about the same amount as vitamin C". D-limonene is found in higher concentrations in the peel...so, keep zesting your foods. On Top, lemon juice is a good digestive helping people hith low stomach acid in Hypothyroid and Hashimoto's conditions.

It's basically rubbish. There was a study AFAIK that showed that limonene (frm lemon peel) might kill or slow down down the growth of skin cancer cells. There was also a trial on breast cancer patients. But that doesn't mean that eating lemons is going to help you. If you want an alternative therapy, investigate Joanna Budwig's diet.

I do find one line posts irritating. Clearly can't be bothered to construct a question with any relevant information that could assist in formulating a response.

All I know is that they're brilliant for heartburn and indigestion and they taste great with fish! Xx

I've an idea this is a troll. A similar question was posted a few days ago about frozen lemons. I presume the idea is that sometime in the future the troll (or his/her colleague) will come back and post an affiliate link.

(No details given, no information about the poster, etc)

Edit: I'm not thinking of the post Shaws has linked to above. It was a similar post to this one. One liner. Maybe it was on another forum somewhere?
