low white cell count. low BUN. Told kidneys are shutting down?
Out of interest.. how did you get our diagnosis of the grand mal seizures..? the reason ask is that at times Systemic Lupus and also Hughes Syndrome is often missed especially if you have sero negative Lupus or sero negative Hughes Syndrome. There are tests that can be carried out. People with Hughes Syndrome and Lupus often have Thyroid problems also, it goes with the territory. Best to rule them both out, ask to be referred to a rheumatologist, and as you wait GP's can do the various blood tests required!

Hi I have severe liver /kidney disease amongst other things. My white count is high, denotes infection. What are all your U`s and E`s, kidney function like. The electrolyte ( 2 in U`s and E`s ?
More importantly, who made the diagnosis? If a real problem,as told, or for diagnosis and care , you need to be under a good nephrologist. It is often the case, that if a doctor does not know the problem , they look for something to blame
What is your calcium level/ Also an electrolyte? This could be very relevant.
Have you had your parathyroid checked, PTH? Initially blood test AM for calcium ( corrected), PTH and vit D. If all high, Ca and PTH over range, then you need a PTH scan, nuclear is the only thing that shows the PTH, large teaching hospital. PTH can account for things like Kidney disease/failure etc.
I assume you are under an Endo for the thyroid, if not, important that you should be.
Best wishes,
Jackie
