Just got this - hopefully you will be able to get it without having to sign up to the Woman&Home site. There some interesting things in here - sadly most of the hair treatments seem quite costly but here they are anyway

It won't let me view the page

Looks like you might have to sign up for it. Try putting woman and home.com into your browser then you will get a box with all sorts of things from recipes to hair and beauty, click on hair and beauty and it ought to take you there. I probably got the email I used the link from because I signed up for emails. Hope it works for you this time.

I most certainly have never signed up for it but can view it without any problems.

Do bear in mind that there are many reasons for pages not to be viewable - including being blocked by malware detectors, being incompatible with various browsers, geographical location (i.e. not allowed to view outside a particular area - usually the home of the page), server problems,...

Many companies impose various blocking policies.

Both my mum and my partner have had great results with minoxidil.

That's very good to know. I sometimes think hair can be just one thing too much to deal with.

Yes!

My mum is very all-natural, no chemicals, etc but in this case nothing else seemed to work and her thin hair was getting her down so she was really happy she tried it, although it made her hair very dry so she stopped eventually. My partner wasn't too bothered about his hair but I think tried it out of curiosity (after hearing how well my mum did with it) and his hairline is really impressive now.

When you think how many people are really very sad about thinning hair, it's a very affordable solution if you don't object to using a sort of drug on your head!

Thanks for that link - suffering very fine and falling hair myself. Using Evening Primrose oil, Lysine tablets and ensuring iron levels are up to speed and taking loads of targeted supplements, using a great gentle shampoo with lysine in it.

Only been taking NDT for about 2 weeks so still a long way to go for cellular repair to kick in and hypo symptoms to start clearing, but improvements are happening - slowly but gently.

It is bad enough dealing with the symptoms of hypo and adrenal issues ... and then to watch hair falling out as well every time you wash it.

I know, I remember when mine was falling out it absolutely drove me round the bend. Hope it all settles down soon. x

Thank you for the link and everyones post on this. I'm going to try it. I never heard of lysine. How do you get it? I am going to try the nanogen hair fibres, too. I am using the Aveda line, it's the purple bottle and I seem to like it but I find those kind of shampoos are drying for some reason, but it does help.

I cannot view it - I have a macbook. Never mind, does it mention B12?????

I lost more than half of my head hair when battling to be diagnosed with hash's. When I stop taking my sublingual B12 I shed hair, otherwise my hair has re-grown. There is never even one hair in the shower tray.

That's strange. I am using an iPad which is possibly the same system but not sure. No doesn't mention B12 - just products. Interesting what you say because I started taking B12 too, I was in the range but at the lower end. Now it is way up near the top of the range. I just put the fact my hair had stopped falling out down to me being at the optimum level for me.

I found a recipe for promoting hair growth, involves lavender essential oil, and a few others, thyme, cedar, rosemary few drops mixed with jojoba oil, massage into scalp, came across it by accident, google

knew Id find something one day, much better than buying expensive tablets from boots, years ago I used aromatherapy on my daughter, no luck killing off hair lice with chemicals, so used tea tree or lavender, brilliant stuff,

Lavender also great for sore throat, rub it on neck :)

I just love lavender. I have it on a tissue under my bed sheet at the moment. Such a wonderful smell, reminds me of Provence. A few years ago I did an Indian head massage course at night school, it was very good but I have got out of the habit of that recently. I read somewhere that peppermint oil is good for hair loss and I keep meaning to get some.
