looking for a good/ recommended brand of vitamin d

hi,,, im on a maintenance vitamin d dose of 10,000 per week. ive been taking pro d3 via my doctor whos decided to stop prescribing,, prob due to cost. ive looked online and can see several brands,,, healthy origins, doctors best and solgar. just wondering which is best . many thanks..... ian

Vit D drops, 1000 iu per drop nd I dont think it was too expensive. I take 5000 and this bottle has lasted ages. Delivery is often next day

thanks,, ive actually been taking the spray but dont feel any benefit from it,,, find pill works better for me.. ta

I like to stick with Solgar because they have clear labels and are very conscious of issues with soy, gluten, etc. I really get frustrated standing in the health food store trying to read the tiny writing on the bottles and sometimes they don't mention stuff like gluten and soy. I wouldn't like to say that all Solgar products are gf and soy free, but so far every bottle I have says it is "free of yeast, wheat, soy, gluten and dairy products and ... formulated without the use of artificial preservatives, flavors or colors."

solgar i know are good make generally,,, i can get 2 years supply of 10,000 units for 12 quid,,, seems good price to me

Gosh, feel free to pass on the details! I pay that for probably each bottle (I get the oil in the dropper just because I'm so tired of swallowing tablets and capsules)...
