Hi, I'm a new member. I've been on block & replace with PTU for 12 months. A lot of the time I'm feeling so lightheaded I don't feel safe to drive. Has anyone else come across this? Any suggestions will be very gratefully received. Thanks, Ann

But you could have a look here:

Hi Any meds can cause problems, even if you have been on them a long time.Although in general that is often autoimmune Hepatitis.Hard to diagnose, no treatment, however, you would definitely know if it was that.

I would make sure you have a thyroid test, quickly, TSH, T4 and Free T3 and if possible antibodies. Be sure to have a copy of blood results + the vital ranges. If being over treated now, contact Endo by e mail ASAP.

I hope that helps,

Jackie

lightheadedness can also be a sign of low blood pressure or lacking in iron...worth checking both these x
