Hi You are much too low.FT4 should be in top third of range, Ft 3 near the top, you also need always to ask for the ranges as different , at different Labs ie often GP different range to hospital. So long as you have the ranges that is fine. You may need some T3 treatment as well, what the Endo means.
Vit D needs testing (hormonal), if low then corrected calcium, before treatment, calcium must always be in range as an electrolyte. Script and then retest 4 months to check the dosage and the state of the calcium. Retest ideally every 6 months, If calcium every goes over range , D treatment has to stop.
You should have also had the other tests with thyroid disease. I would ring Endo`s sec. B12 + foliates, ( high in range) Diabetes, both autoimmune hormonal, and importantly iron./ferritin, clearly in range. Gp can do these, should repeat annually if not treatment , if on treatment more often.. The D is usually for life
my B12 is low, they have already started me on that and vit D. everything else was normal. I have 4 more tests over the next 8 months and should hopefully get decision on the T3/T4 therapy within the next week. for now ive been increased to 225mcg Levo while they wait for the results
