I need to know if my TSH and other blood tests are optimal enough for Specialist to give me the go ahead for my gall-bladder removal operation-( please note they have only tested my TSH not T4 or t3 !!!!!!) eckkkkkk
I've posted my pre-op blood tests on 2 posts --... - Thyroid UK
I've posted my pre-op blood tests on 2 posts --no answers yet x
Unfortunately the people who know how to interpret blood test results may well have been at work (like me) or not have logged on yet. You only posted 6 hours ago so I'm sure people will get back to you when they are able. We have no doctors or medical professionals working on this forum. We are all volunteers except a couple of the charity staff who are manning the office during the day. Unfortunately this means you might not always get a quick response.
I will have a read through your posts and see if I am able to help. Hopefully a few others will be around to contribute as well later this evening
Sorry you have had to wait.

Thank you, I just wondered if I should have put my results on the questions page instead, I've got plenty of time to wait xxxxxxx
I don't think it will matter too much but if you don't get any more responses you might want to repost on as a question. Unfortunately admins don't currently have the facility to move posts to the questions page otherwise I would do it for you. Hopefully this is something that HealthUnlocked will consider for the future
Are you absolutely certain you need your gall bladder removed. I realize that sometimes it is necessary but often it is not. I was to have mine removed in my forties because they saw a large stone during an ultrasound and it's actually around that age that many people start having problems. As fortune had it, it didn't come out and now many years later, I still have my gall bladder and doing fine with it. I find a lot of things doctors warned me about never came true. There are other treatments but naturally surgeons don't like hearing that.
