Just had a cortisol test and it shows as:
10am test - 698nmol/l (9am range 171-536)
What does it mean?
What can I do?
What are the treatments people get?
and yes I have had some stressed out times

Moggie, if you have time, I'd like your thoughts on this series on Hashimoto from a neurologist. I think it makes tons of sense.
I'm interested in this as well. My cortisol has always been higher than OP's.
Which post is your response on Moggie?
This one, but I would get to excited as I had no definate answers only advise.

Hi Which test did you have? My Endo says the only reliable test is a 24 hour urine collection with a cortisol ( low dose) tablet at midnight, prescribed and a blood test at 9 am.. If you did no have this test ,personally I would do before worrying etc. I know if her patients have an y other test she insists on this test, usually with very different results.
Best wishes,
Jackie
Hi it, I've been posting this video because I think after many, many years studying this difficult disease without real answers. I think this series is very compelling. He does touch on cortisol in several videos. There is a series but they are short.
