Hi If you are hypo nothing will help to loose weight but the right treatment. Graves as you well know is a complicated issue and I would not attempt to advise you It is well known that Graves does swing between hypo and hyper. Are you under a good Endo? You should be with Graves as too complicated for a GP. If not, find a good one, an Endo, not a private doc as more complicated than just the thyroid. Then ask GP for a referral.

Best wishes,

Jackie

Hi Well in a way GP being careful, not a bad idea as infection does play havoc with thyroid and diabetes, both being hormonal and autoimmune ( usually).

I hope you are sorted soon.

If you email louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org she has a list of NHS Endo/private doctors and one may be near you.
