Thought other hypo sufferers might be interested in these really interesting links, as sea buckthorn is alleged to have many benefits for mucous membranes, immune system, chronic inflammation, weight, etc. which seem to be part of the hypo pattern:

"Sea Buckthorn includes six different fat-soluble vitamins and vitamin-like substances, 22 fatty acids, 42 kinds of lipids and 36 kinds of flavonoids and phenols. The most important pharmacological functions attributed to Sea Buckthorn are that it can nurture the cells in the body and prevent the negative effects of free radicals, postpone the aging process, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and analgesic."

Hi Pettals. Good to hear from you. How are you ?

I'm fine apart from looking like I've done a few rounds in a boxing ring...fell flat on face out walking on holiday, which is why I've been reading up on Sea Buckthorn. It's supposed to be good for skin, healing burns, scars as well as the above. Sounds like a miracle cure...hope it is!
