I have had a Cortisol blood test done privately. The level is 197 (171-536).
Can anyone tell me what this means. I have been feeling extremely weak and lathargic for many months. Also my lymphocytes are always raised 361 (150-350) and my lymph nodes swollen too for 6 mths
I have hashimoto's and I'm taking 100mcg of Levo.

It does matter when the blood test is done. Cortisol varies quite a lot through the day and can be monitored thus via saliva.
I set a limit of 400 for my recent 9am blood test- and got above that. I'm not hugely adrenally stressed, as I was once.
Lymphocytes usually indicate immune activity -rightly [if sick with infection] or wrongly, in autoimmune illness where it causes illness and damage depending on where/how etc.
I do know that treating thyroid without having top class adrenals is not the best way to go. .[Dr B D Peatfield]
